Relative wants help but I'm not qualified

Hello, I am currently a veterinary assistant student going through an internship.

I'm having a problem with a relative asking me for medical advice. She isn't a very responsible pet owner and a newly adopted puppy under her care has become injured.

I am definitely not qualified to answer any of her questions and have told her this.

How can I convince her to take her puppy to a veterinarian and make it clear I can't help her in the way she wants? Or at least get her to give the puppy to someone who can afford to take care of it?
