Haven't played for nearly a year - Goal/challenges to build towns/cities?

Thinking something like this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-discussion/survival-mode/297932-the-city-construction-challenge

Makes me have a goal and actually get building going instead of thinking "I should build a town", make two houses and then stop doing other stuff.

It's old, so I was thinking someone might have made something similar.
