A question about the Franco-British Union.

I've been watching the World War Wednesdays, and in the previous one they confirmed that you would indeed be able to play as the same country as someone else in multiplayer. This got me thinking. In one of the earlier streams Johan formed the Franco-British Union. So if one player was playing a France, and the other as Britain and this happened, would they start playing as the Union together?
