Build ideas?

Long time player of ds, ng+7 on 1 and ng+8 on 2.. This is my last time playing 2 before 3 comes out and I'm playing co-op with two others. Normally I ALWAYS run a sun bro build \o/. This time it's looking to be the same thing.

I would like to switch it up however. Last time I played, hexes were meh, and magic was too boring to use. What have y'all been using?!
