Question Concerning Minor Key Chord Progressions
I was always taught that chord progressions always followed their corresponding modes- i.e the V chord in a major key chord progression is major/dominant because of the Mixolydian mode, etc. Why then, is the V chord in a minor chord progression normally major if it would normally correspond to the Phrygian mode?
