[Question] Trees and tobacco

Hey saplings, just a quick question here. I live in France and here it's very very common to mix weed and tobacco inside joints but I've never seen anyone on the internet do that or even mention putting tobacco in joints so I'd like to know if Americans/other people do it too or if it's just us ?
