Second time gun buyer mistske

A few weeks ago I took my girl out to purchase a handgun without first shooting one. I messed up, we should have tried first.

Now I have a Ruger LC9s that's hard for her to shoot. What can I do with the thing?

I rented a shield 9 last week and there is virtually no recoil to the thing. It's great.

Rented a Walther PPS and a CCP today any the PPS has just a tad more kick than the shield.

What to do?
