Articulating our feelings about why we love marijuana [5]
I've been thinking a lot lately about what exactly it is about pot that I love so much. After much (stoney) thinking, I came to conclusion that the main reason weed makes me so happy is because of my scatterbrain. I have lived with social anxiety and an extremely active and self-conscious mind for my whole life. When I discovered pot when I was about 13, I instantly fell in love. For many years, I have continued to enjoy the beautiful greens on a daily basis simply because it allows me to focus closely on a single idea. Since I was very young, I constantly have countless streams of thought and conflicting feelings running through my mind. I've always been tortured by my inability to deeply ponder a single concept, to closely consider a thought or emotion or reaction that I have. Marijuana allows me to do that. I recognize that this view of life could be viewed as unhealthy, but I feel that it is no more unhealthy than taking any of the horrible prescription medications I tried in my childhood. I think that, as a highly habitual user, it's important to understand what it is that you enjoy. What are your thoughts? Lets discuss, folks.
