One little thing I love about Corey Graves being an announcer.

He focuses on details and points out the psychology and strategy of just very basic things that Cole rarely does.

For instance when the heel is beating down a face then goes for the pin and the face kicks out at 2.5. The heel immediately goes for the pin again and this time kick out right at 2. Immediately heel goes for a pin again for a kick out at 1.

Graves points out the heel knows they aren't going to win but they're making their opponent use up a lot of their energy to keep kicking out making it easier on the heel to take advantage of a tired opponent.

I know this is something we've all heard before, but it's a rare thing for the announcers to add logic to the matches they are calling.

It's so simple but it helps move along the narrative of matched that helps sell the story the performers in the ring are trying to tell.

I just appreciate the little things we get on NXT announcing we don't get on Raw. Having Mauro on Smackdown has been amazing with his conviction while calling matches, but having a heel color commentator add in those little tidbits of strategy makes everything more interesting IMO.

Sorry for my rant about a basic call Graves does, but I really appreciate his attention to the match. It makes matches feel more significant.
