How can I calmly respond to people who maintain that Bernie is trying to "punish the wealthy"?

I get so angry but I'm trying stay calm and explain that's not at all what he's doing. Anyone have any advice?

Hell, if my mom can switch parties after fifty years to become a Democrat just so she can vote for Bernie, trust me when I say that anything is possible!
