Question Regarding the Dashboard

Been having a weird issue with my dashboard and just want to make sure its nothing wrong with my Live Account or my Xbox. Each time I turn my system on from power saving mode, I have to refresh the dashboard for it to load properly. Without a refresh, I only have access to my home tab and a error on the left requesting that I "connect to Xbox live" despite being connected and able to play online. Anyone else have this, or a similar issue? Just looking to see what I can do to resolve it. Thanks!
