Weed is a gateway drug?

Many people think marijuana is considered a gateway drug that potentially leads to the yse of more dangerous or “harder” substances, such as heroin, cocaine, etc. What do you guys have to say about it? I don't really agree with this idea because I have been smoking for a long time and have never felt an urge to try another drug. I would like to hear your thoughts, thanks!
