Hey, Long story short, car just died on me and cost to much to repair. I need a car for commuting to work and school ASAP.

I found a car in my area and I happen to know the women selling it, she is a fellow graduate student. The car was serviced regular and kept in nice condition on the inside with some minor cosmetic damage on the outside. I have $1500 in the emergency funds and I would also need to include tax, tag, and title. She has also given me a LookupVin report which reports the car has a clean title and with no accidents. The car is priced at $1300 and is negotiable.

Its a 2003 VW Jetta GLS 1.8T 4dr Sedan

  • condition: good
  • cylinders: 4 cylinders
  • drive: fwd
  • fuel: gas
  • odometer: 176690
  • paint color: black
  • size: compact
  • title status: clean
  • transmission: manual
  • type: sedan

I have never heard of the lookupvin.com service, can anyone back up the validity of their services? What are your thought on the car (price, specs, mileage, trim, etc.)? Thank you in advance and have a great day!
