Motor guards - are they worth it?

Hey!

Currently working on a custom, 3d printable design for my 250 quad. I have a rough design of the arms done and am wondering - should I include motor guards? Are they even worth it or is is enough to make the mounting plate a little bigger. The guards would add some weight to the design, so I guess it's worth consideration. What is your opinion on this?
