Good for Work - possible laggy/battery killing app?

Hey all - as part of my job, we have to use Good for Work for our corporate email/calendar. The more I mess with my phone, I'm beginning to think this app more than pretty much anything is responsible for my lagginess and general decline in battery life.

Does anyone else use this app? Any similar findings?
