Frame drops starting after no issues for one month

Hey there, everyone. I've been streaming for ~1 month and had never had any issues with frame drops until a couple days ago (Feb 22). I don't remember changing any settings prior to the Monday, so I was curious as to what the problem might be.

Specs:
Intel Core i5-4590 @ 3.30GHz
16GB Ram
MSI Radeon R9 280
Windows 10

I tried changing settings a few times during the stream and eventually sorted the issue out by switching from 45fps to 30fps, but as I mentioned earlier, I had never had issues like this prior to Monday.

I have noticed when I stream though my CPU usage is rather high (~90%) and I didn't know if that could be the issue. If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!
