I (22F) was talking to a guy (20M) romantically for the first time. He cut it off because I was being clingy... I accidentally cussed him out...
I accidentally cussed him out 3 months later.. out of rage and frustration over my grades. Also I have mental health issues.
I sent a long apology email to him. He did not reply. A year later I sent him a request on facebook and he accepted.
I said hi but he didn't talk. and then I pretty much asked for forgiveness again for a second chance, and he declined very strongly, after repeated attempts of throughly explaining myself about how my condition is much better than it was a year ago (it really is). He said that he forgives me for everything that happened but cannot see us being romantic ever.
I guess I said some really really mean and untrue things to him. Some of them were stupid, like "you're slow" "you're a whore" "you aren't funny" "i only liked you cause you were cute" etc. I also said "you're just jealous that im majoring in engineering and you're major in business" (I'm terrible..) :/
I feel like everything I said was forgivable (well I don't know...) except that last sentence. I'm not sure..
One of his replies to our conversation was "You didn't show me that you would treat me well no matter what. So it doesn't matter how you change as time goes on, I know that I can't count on you 100% to be good to me and anything less is not good enough. I'm sorry"
.. after much convo I said "Then I will believe that the event was not the reason that this ended. But instead you believe we are incompatible. Because I have already explained the event, and I am not sure how to make you believe the severity of my emotions at the time."
Him: "It doesn't matter! If it happens once it can happen again. And I can promise that if we were together at the time, I would not just ignore it. And as far as being compatible goes, we're never going to find out about that"
me: "Ok. It will never happen again and only I know this. If it will, it will be rare and not that harsh at all. And I will be content knowing that you would not ever be able to understand what it's like or how to be supportive when I feel that way."
after a while it just ended.. he said goodbye and then the next day i said: "But you (and even I should) should understand that i have flaws too, and i will not be able to count on you to be 100% good to me. Because nobody is perfect. You look at the whole package and see where you will be the happiest. That is all."
A day passed, he didn't reply, I got upset and said "im trippin. we're two completely different people. this is over like donkey kong"
Then, He blocked me on facebook. I went on instagram and said "I lied" and I got blocked from there.
Lol, I know, I'm a mess. This was really sad though.. he was really nice..
I don't know what my question is.. I guess.. was what I did unforgivable? Is he being stubborn? Is this really over forever? Can I win him back years down the line?
I don't know... Any thoughts/advice?
