Bass Amp problems
So long story short, I picked up a bass and an amp about a month ago. Out of the blue my amp started making these weird noises.
This still occurs when headphones are plugged in and when tried out with different cords. I am gonna drop by Guitar Center tomorrow to see if I can get this fixed or replaced. But since I bought the amp with cash (and can't find the receipt), I think I might be boned. I was wondering if anyone here knew what the problem was and maybe a fix to the problem. I want to at least have an idea of what is wrong before I go in tomorrow since I know next to nothing about amps.
There is also a rather loud humming noise that comes out of the amp when not connected to the bass.
I would be eternally grateful for any help.
