Leather messenger bags like Navali?
Hey r/malefashionadvice!
I'm a first year college freshman who wants to swap out her old L. L. Bean bag for something awesome! I just ordered the Dell XPS 15 (I'm so excited for it) and decided I needed a bag worthy to carry something so amazing.
I'm really, really, really into the Navali Mainstay! My only issue is - I carry around a 2" binder, and some paper, and I would need to keep chargers etc as well. But I really want this bag.
My budget goes up to $200, I really can't afford to pay more than that, especially given that I just bought a new laptop. So far the Navali is my favorite. I'm just concerned about space! It's mostly paper and a binder, and maybe a pouch or two for pens and makeup. I walk around on campus, but don't commute. My town isn't very large, and you have to drive everywhere. But I plan on this bag lasting me for years!
I'm asking this sub instead of r/femalefashionadvice because every time leather messenger bags are mentioned on reddit, they're here and you guys know what you're talking about!
So those of you that have this bag, can I still make it work for my needs? If not, do any of you have any recommendations for bags with a bit more space? Since they have such great customer service, maybe I could get it anyway and see for myself and return it if I have to? It's just a lot of money for me to throw around (college student woes) and I'd like to make this as smooth a process as possible. Really, I am in love with this bag and I need help.
Thanks a ton!
