Bamboo Connect drivers do not work on windows 10

every time i try to open the driver utility i get an error tried reinstalling/restarting everything, i cannot use the tablet without setting it up so that it uses the correct screen. this effectively makes my $130 too-late-to-return tablet a paperweight
