Embers and the first flame theory (possible spoilers)

I think that with every lord of cinder we kill we will gain an ember instead of a soul. I'm basing this off of the item I think was called Farran's ember. I think once all these embers are gathered the first fire could be relit. Dumb theory I know but it would be preeeeety cool.
