Phone Dock in 2016 GTI?

Hey, so I just purchased my first GTI (2016 4dr Autobahn)! Super happy with everything so far, however when I want to use CarPlay I never know where to put my phone. I'd rather not throw it in the cupholder, but since it needs to be connected to the USB in order to work, that seems to be the only option at this point. Does anyone know of a dock that can fit to the left of the USB jack or a similar solution? Preferably not a vent clip with a wire hanging down ;) Thanks!
