Serious question. Why can't I hit a single snipe with the Hereafter, but I'm damn near batting 1000 with Yasmin?

Hereafter has a higher aim assist than Yasmin, but I can't hit the broad side of a barn with it. Any reason why I'm having such a night and day experience?
