Surface Pro 4 doesn't turn on from hibernation - never before had this problem pre-update

title. I had some sleep issues so I disabled all the sleep functions and set my Surface to hibernate after 45 minutes only. Worked like a charm for ages - I push the power button once and after some delay, the Surface stars up.

However, after one of the most recent updates my Surface no longer powers on after pushing the power button. I now have to hold both the power and volume up button, and restart from the UEFI page to even turn it on. What gives? Anyone else experience this?
