GPA Graph on Resume

I am a senior engineering student with a less than stellar GPA. My cumulative GPA is a 2.56 right now and when I go to career fairs I can visually tell when they see my GPA. My girlfriend told me about someone who put a graph of their GPA on their resume to show they improved throughout college. Would this graph make me look better to an employer or should I leave it off.
