helpp my parents wont let me go vegan, they say since ive always eaten it i cant just cut it out bc im growing (im 15)
Ok so ive been interested on veganism the past few months, im 15 im a girl. my parents think its gonna be expensive because for example they would not buy their meat alltogether, they would have to buy their meat (and dairy and eggs... etc) minus my amount plus they think if they do do that theyll have to buy me like lots and lots of veggies and fruits to supply a healthy and complete diet for me. Not only that (my dad is very philosophical and this kinda makes sense but im just not sure because it just doesnt feel right}) but also my dad says that since i was in my moms belly i have been eating meat, milk, eggs, cheese... because thats just what they eat and they think that since im used to eating that my whole life, there has to be a balance. So they say i should eat meat but like maybe 2 times a week. about dairy they kind of are accepting to let me not have it as well as eggs which is great. anyway i feel like they make sense by saying that i need a balance since ive been raced like that, now that im a teenager. and i think when i get older i will deffinitely go completely vegan but they suggest not just now because im growing. my point of this post is that it still doesnt feel right to be eating meat at any rate i just dont know whats true and whats not, if i do need meat or if i dont, if we´re mnivores or herbivores... im soooo effing confused!!! help me pleaseeeeee
