Any reusable alternatives to sandwich/freezer bags?

I use sandwich bags to store my utensils for lunch, and freezer bags for raw chicken. I'm trying to find a reusable alternative so I don't have to keep replenishing bags I'd otherwise never use; obviously it would be unhealthy for me to reuse the bags.

What first comes to mind is tupperware containers, but I'm curious if anyone has any better ideas.
