Do any of you DVT/PE survivors smoke/vape/eat marijuana?

I had DVT and a PE IN 10/14. Took Xarelto for over a year per hematologist, who then referred me to another hematologist for a second opinion in December 2015 (he knew I wanted off of the meds even though his recommendation was to stay on it for life). Anyway, the second doctor recommended going off the Xarelto which I did in January. Fast forward to yesterday when I ended up in the ER for another DVT in my right leg. I quit smoking cigarettes in 2014, but I still use marijuana and now I'm wondering if there's a connection. I mostly vape or eat it, and the last couple of weekends I have eaten more than normal. I know there's no studies out there but I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone had any thoughts about it. I hate to give it up but if I have to I guess I have to. BTW my doctor has never been able to nail down a reason that I got the DVT in the first place. No clotting disorders, no genetics. ..thanks for any thoughts. .
