Recently adopted a Sheltie, what am I looking out for health issues wise?
Hi r/sheltie! I recently adopted my very first sheltie, his birthday is at the end of this week and he'll be turning two. This is my first Sheltie ever, I was originally looking for another husky but something about his looks and personality made my drop my hunt for a husky and we just clicked. Anyways, he's already limping on one back leg occasionally, not entirely sure if thats the beginning signs of a luxating patella or not.
When I was researching up on the breed I was mostly directed towards epilepsy later in life, and obviously the shedding and I was wondering what else I should be expecting health wise?
Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! :)
