IDViking Maine review
So I received my Maine today from IDViking
Communication: 10/10 they always respond within 24 hours, it might not be that night but they're busy doing what they do so within a full day is perfectly reasonable.
Price: 10/10 $60 for an intro promo I'll take it, Maine is a close state to me so I'm psyched.
Stealth: 7/10 honestly surprised it was sitting on my table or got pass anyone
Shipping: 11/10 gotta say they predicted their estimate around 10 days... I got it in 6 so I'm really impressed with that turn out time.
Photoshop: 10/10 I gave them a really good picture to work with and they did what they did with it and I'm impressed with how it came out, they got some flyaway hairs in there and everything.
Uv: I don't have a uv light and pretty sure Maine doesn't have uv
Holos: 10/10 the state seal looks nice, not sure if those are actual holos or not but they show up when I move the ID and I'm pretty sure they're heat sealed on there (someone help me out on that)
Signature 9/10 they used my signature however it is kind of small, adds to the realism of the ID but takes away from it a little too
Scanning: sad to say this is where things went down hill, I had a feeling the fast turnout time was a little too good to be true. My height is far from off on just about every app scanner I used, I'm apparently 42'3" from what I've read I'm not the first person this has happened too on this sub. So that I can get pass as someone might not even pay attention to the height. But the biggest mistake of all is the last letter on my last name is completely different from what it reads on the card and it's correct on the card! I'm not sure how that could happen but it kind of bums me out because that's a dead giveaway unless actual dmv's can fuck that up. I'm waiting to hear back from Viking in hopes of sorting the scanning issue out so as of now I'm giving scanning a 5/10
Overall: it's a really nice ID, it on teslin and I'm from a teslin state, it feels nice, the colors are beautiful it feels real. On my dupe on one side you can see its kind of rough from where the teslin was cut but I can easily shave that down. All in all nice work.
Usability: besides the scanning feature I think this iD is super nice and I feel confident in using it in places I know won't scan it for now until I get that feature issue worked out.
