this wait is unbearable

i feel that i might expire

the pain is not share-able

so here i walk on a wire

lust and desire

cities on fire

set the masses to ignite

fuel the burn of another fight

spread the smear of another lie

this weight is unbearable

you see so many sink and die

over illegitimate cause

watch as they direct the pause

another clause

a hole to loop

do not search and do not snoop

trapped beneath the pressing weight

waiting on another day

wishing that you would awake

trapped between the infinite wait

pressing on, reveal your fate

dead inside

they promised what they could

but

what they could was all a lie
