Greetings, hunters!
Keeping track of all the stuff you can get in this game can be a hassle especially across multiple characters and whatnot. On my prior character, I had a checklist that I sloppily threw together and updated when I got the DLC. Not very neat.
However, I started a new character recently and it bugged me so I cleaned it up. Since I spent some time on it, I thought I might share the fruits of my labor if anyone else wants a way to keep track of the stuff you can pick up in the game.
This checklist particularly should help the semi-completionist types like me that insist on making sure they have everything on each character even if they're not actually going to use 90% of the stuff...
Things To Note:
The original version was meant for myself and I haven't changed too much from it. That's why locations of items probably sound vague. They were intended to be hints and reminders for myself, which will work for seasoned players that have done at least one or two characters and just need to keep track of things.
An example is NPCs listed. The checklist only tells you that the NPC is related to the item. It does not tell you if you're supposed to kill them, do their questline, or whatever.
This may not work for first time players or players that need exact locations to find the items. If that's the case, you can easily google more specific directions to your desired item.
The spoiler-free version of the checklist removes location information for those that don't want it. Please note that full weapon/gear names are still listed and those may be considered spoilers to some.
The percentages of completion are just for fun. There is a trophy percentage as well for those seeking the metal.
The formatting and formulas are strictly for convenience and ease of use. I am not a pro at Excel/Google Sheets so something in there is probably messed up. Additionally, apparently Google Sheets bugs out and likes to mess with borders if you merge cells... Had to squish things together to bypass that :(
Regarding Glyphs:
I got rune glyphs off of the Fextralife wiki and the Bloodborne Sheets.
I selected glyphs that were layer one (unless otherwise indicated) and had information on where the runes could be found or what rites were used. You can use other glyphs but I have listed these for efficiency's sake so you can hop in, locate and grab the desired rune, and pop out.
I have not managed to check every single glyph and see if they are still active, though I will probably do so soon on my new character. Back to dungeon diving...
I will update the glyphs if they are no longer active or if I get more information on rites and locations within the layers.
This checklist is not a game changer, but it can hopefully save some people from extra aggravation and annoyance. As always, feel free to let me know if you have any corrections, concerns, questions, or other thoughts you want to share. I am more than willing to hear from you guys :)
Happy hunting!
Shoutout to u/malady013 for checking the attire lists when I got too lazy to do that, haha. Thank you, kind hunter!
