Ever make a mistake you’ve grown to regret?
I was victim to your pretty persuasion
because all of mine were made for you.
When the sun went down, you danced to shadowplay.
From building go-karts with my ex-landlord
to waving my white flag to the morning commute,
the smoke and purple haze filled my head - 
break my heart so I know you’re really real.
I guess a break is needed so I learn to reflect.
