Hi everyone,
I am looking into a possible career in web/data scrapping but with all these third party tools that provide ability to dynamically scrap data for based on user input, is there even a need for programmers to create agents to scrap the web anymore?
Thanks,

That's a pretty niche area for an interest, and I have never heard of it being someone's career. If you are interested in that, expand into coding automated tools for the web to make some tasks easier, things that other web developers might find handy.
There are companies that create tools for scrapping. Scraperwiki comes to mine if you are in the UK.

scraping? no, it's just one skill in your toolbox. It's not a career in itself.
