Dark Souls 3 undid everything I've learned from Souls games
Maybe it is due to minor tweaks, even more punishing level design, enemies suddenly adapting to your constant abuse of same tactics or all of those combined, but for the past 2 days I feel like everything which I have learned and expected from a Souls game just vanquished the moment I stepped into the undead valley.
So even though it is the 3rd (or 4th) game in the series, I am having to play like I am new to this game. Making it not only challenging but also refreshing as it somehow avoids the sequel fatigue which most games tends to develop right about now. Miyazaki, that guy is full of surprises.
