Is there anything that I can say to a debt collector that will refresh my statute of limitation?

I was researching online to try and find out if there is anything that I can orally say on the phone to a debt collector that could extent/restart my statute of Limitations. I live in AZ. I could only find that I can possibly do that depending on the state that I'm in but no one can tell me about just AZ. any info is greatly appreciated!
