Determining the fraction that results in a rounded decimal

Back in my discrete math (or maybe numerical analysis) course ~15 years ago, I believe I recall learning an algorithm to determine the fraction with the lowest denominator that would result in a given rounded decimal.

For example, given the (rounded) decimal 0.46154, the algorithm would return 6/13. Haven't had any luck with Google. Anyone know of a technique for figuring out that 0.46154 is equal to 6/13 rounded to 5 decimal places? (Other than iterating through all possible denominators, of course)
