Off duty employment question.

I have a side job cleaning houses/apartments and was told by the first shirt and commander today to stop immediately or I would face consequences.

I am a SrA have never been in trouble at work before and even won some awards even though they are bullshit. I don't work for a cleaning company or anything just do it on my own for cash and to keep me occupied and it never has or never will interfere with my work. I have looked at the AF 3902 and none of the boxes apply and just kinda do it on my own.

I have been doing it about for around 6 months for mostly people in my squadron and do a fantastic job for pretty cheap, people have known this and I just don't get why all the sudden it is a big deal. Even my supervisor said "Wow I can't believe they called us in for that." Obviously I will stop doing it but has anyone ever heard of something similar? I am kinda frustrated with this situation and don't like being in trouble but I don't feel like I even did anything wrong.
