Need Advice Finding Buyer for Large Gem in U.S.

Hey all,

My family is in possession of a fairly large sapphire (a family heirloom) that we have been considering finding a buyer for. The gem is currently overseas, and we would rather not bring it into the U.S. unless a potential buyer has been found. I live and work here in the states.

The sapphire has been certified and is 300+ carats.

I would very much appreciate any advice regarding how I should approach searching for a potential buyer for the item.
