Dartmouth - in general!
Hey guys!
First off, I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post (ask?) this. If it needs to be removed, let me know.
I am a junior in a STEM oriented high school. Needless to say, Dartmouth seems like a dream college to me for the following reasons: varsity squash, skiing (club/in general), gorgeous campus (sanborn!), tight community, fantastic undergrad research, formula one team, Tuck (and tuck bridge). My first question is: can you give me some sort of review of my "resume?"
- 4.1W gpa post junior year
- 2220 superscored (taking act in june, practice tests ~34)
- squash
- recreational skiing
- scholarship in choir
- piano competition winner multiple times
- treasurer/president of two clubs
- prez/founder of a volunteer initiative
- scuba license
- rec sailing
- reluctant to divulge this last one b/c its pretty personal but my counselor calls it "one of the stronger parts" of my resume.
Next off is social life. Parents are weary of the frats and whatnot. Is there pressure? Are there academic frats? are first-years required to stay in dorms? Any help would be greatly appreciated; thanks in advance!
