Noble Sac not proccing

Just had this happen to me in a game: I had noble sac up, opponent had a Nerubian Egg and a Sea Giant. He used an Abusive Sergeant to buff his Egg and attacked my Knife Juggler, killing it. He then attacked with the Sea Giant proccing the Noble Sacrifice. Is this a new bug or something?
