Will natural makeup actually make my skin better?

I've been following a natural skin care regimen for a few years and it has done wonders for my dry, sensitive skin! I'm wondering now if buying a natural BB cream will have any added benefit to my skin, or if the difference is negligible. No problems with acne, just red spots from old breakouts and general dryness.
