What are the best vehicles for a tow vehicle (up to 3500 lbs) that come in the smallest packages?

Looking into purchasing my next vehicle, and one requirement is that it can tow my 3500 travel trailer. I'm always attracted to cars on the smaller side (previous vehicles were a Mini Cooper and Fiat). What are some vehicles that can tow that but still are on the smaller side of things?
