Do you think the psychological effect on your enemies of seeing an M1 Abrams roll up as support is better than it's actual combat effect?

Trying to imagine myself in an enemy position watching as a line of 3-4 M1 Abrams provides support to infantry troops clamping down on my position.

Wondering if I would run for my life, or stay and fight knowing they have tank support, even if I had the tactical advantage in location.
