[NPC] Mexico denounces Brazil for restarting their nuclear weapons programme and illegal annexation of Venezuela

NPC

The Seventh Republic is not a stable state. The increasingly militaristic Seventh Republic that unsettlingly won wide, mass public support, fuelling their political organization, which ultimately originated from military junta, is found in several violations of its prior held commitments including the Treaty of Tlatelolco. It's an autocratic regime that is not above flexing its military muscle to achieve its ulterior motives, as evident by recent annexation of Venezuela. They promise referendum, elections, but so they did when they ratified the Treaty of Tlateloco - a landmark agreement which entails state parties agreeing to prohibit and prevent the treating, use, manufacture, production or acquisition of any nuclear weapons in any form.

The world may be at conflict again, as it was in the past, but that doesn't void our previous commitments, agreements, treaties. Mexico being the leader, a responsible leader, asks Mercosur to consider suspension of Brazil from the organization, or that day is not far enough when Brazil has our culture, our people in their clutches. With great power, comes great responsibility, and the Seventh Republic has been anything but responsible.

Mexico asks Mercosur to suspend Brazil effective immediately for their actions which are found in violation of the Treaty of Tlateloco, and for their attempt to annex a sovereign nation - the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The suspension can only be effective, and possibly force Brazil into respecting its commitments, if they are made stronger by enacting sanctions against Brazilian imports and exports and political and military leadership. We ask everyone to stand for a peaceful, prosperous world, where our children may live without fear.
