So I spent $ 70 on silver with a gift card I was given and 20 of my own cash and I still don't have a full set of desolate armor. Here's what happened
So I just want to say that in no way am I angry. Just a bit dissatisfied. I originally bought $20 worth of silver for shits and giggles and to see if i could obtain the full set for my warlock. Well I ended up originally getting the full set but thought that I had screwed up the infusion somehow as my chestpiece and gloves and boots had rolled with intellect strength and discipline strength. So i simply infused my desolate chest piece into another piece of armor and i thought "its whatever ill try again". Well i had a $50 psn card saved for whatever my come out in the future and i said nah ill just buy $10 more silver in persuit of that sexy piece of chest armor. Well that $10 turned up fruitless for the chest again and at that point i wanted to see just how much i would have to spend to get that chest armor. Well it turned into another $10 into another $20 into another $10 which equated to several pieces of chroma, spectre for other classes, 2 ships, a sparrow, and rep boosters. Duplicate desolate helmets and gloves, seriously like 6 helms and 5 gloves and 1 more boots. Not 1 more single chest piece drop. So I guess what I'm saying is that you shouldn't chase the dragon. or maybe you should. I dunno but I mean can you throw me a bone here bungie? I just wanted to get the chest piece again. Also it turns out that the infusion of the desolate gear is rng as well, at least the I/D/S stats. So yea. There you go guys. Hold onto your shit, and save your gift card.
