Batoning with a Ka-Bar

So as the title implies, I am looking at the Kabar Dog's Head Knife as an outdoor knife. It would be used for general outdoor use, but I am curious if it would hold up to batoning. It wouldn't be heavy duty by any means, but better safe than sorry. Also, I'm not going with a becker because I really wanted the leather sheath and classic look of a Kabar.
