Just how bad is TouchWiz Lag Exactly?

r/Android complains about how laggy touchwiz is all the time and even the recent reviews on the s7 complain that it's laggy. I have never used a non samsung phone so it feels pretty smooth for me. Is touchwiz really that bad or is it blown out of proportion?
