Confirmation on the acceptance of passport copy and reply form?

I was ensured by Canada Post that my application would arrive by the eleventh, but upon remembering that we had received confirmation that our applications had arrived, I got a bit worried.

Were we supposed to receive a confirmation e-mail for this as well, or am I stressing for nothing?
