Questions about Trundle

I've picked up Trundle a lot more recently because the inevitable happened and Ekko is banned a lot now (sad).

Are there any match ups in which Trundle is the wrong pick? I've played against the usual low elo SoloQ top laners in Jax, Nasus, Riven, Vlad etc and done well against all. It's the early laning that can sometimes be punishing due to me being quite an in your face player (I've noticed people in low elo panic when you do this and can get summoners early half of the time).

What should I be doing and what should I be avoiding?
